Methodology

The databases for the analysis of the Cascade of the Municipality of São Paulo, as well as the criteria for its construction, were made available by the Brazilian Ministry of Health through the Technical Manual for the Elaboration of the Continuum Care of HIV Cascade. The cascade was elaborated from databases of register, CD4, Viral Load and antiretroviral dispensations. The bar that estimated the number of people with HIV was based on the national average HIV sub-notification by 13% from the bar that estimates the number of people diagnosed for HIV in MSP. The SPSS software analysis system was used.
